Azerbaijan's ancient historical, cultural heritage and natural landscape attract scholars, art connoisseurs, musicians and tourists from around the globe. Azerbaijan is often dubbed the "Land of Fire" due to its pe- troleum reserves and thousands of ground sources of natural gas, many of which have been burning for thousands of years.

Day 1 TRANSFER

Arrival at Heydar Aliyev International Airport - Meet and greet upon arrival.
Transfer to Hotel - Comfortable transfer to your hotel in Baku. Free Free Time - On Day 1, enjoy some free time to relax or explore the city at your own pace before the exciting Baku City Tour.

Day 2 BAKU OLD CITY TOUR

09:30 - After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our tour with the Baku Old City (Icheri- sheher), the historical core of Baku. The Old City is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to significant landmarks such as the Maiden Tower and the Palace of the Shirvansha- hs.
10:00-10:30 - Maiden Tower - A symbol of Baku with a rich history.
10:30-11:00 - Palace of the Shirvanshahs - A magnificent palace of the historic rulers of Azerbaijan.
11:00-11:30 - Juma Mosque and Old Caravanserais - Visit the ancient mosque and ex- plore the caravanserais, which served as resting places for traders.
11:30-12:00 - Museum of Miniature Books - Discover the world's smallest collection of books.
12:00 - 13:15 - Lunch - Enjoy traditional Azerbaijani cuisine at a local restaurant.
13:15 - 14:00 - National Carpet Museum - Learn about the rich history and crafts- manship of Azerbaijani carpets.
14:00 - 14:30 - Little Venice - A charming boat ride on the canals of Baku Boulevard. 14:30 - 15:00 - Ferris Wheel - Enjoy panoramic city views from the Ferris Wheel.
15:00 - 16:00 - Nizami Street - Stroll along this famous shopping street, full of modern stores and historical buildings.
16:00 - 17:00 - Fountains Square - Relax in one of Baku's most famous public squares, which is lively in the evenings.
17:00 - 18:00 - Return to Hotel - Conclude the day's tour with a comfortable return to the hotel.

Day 3 ABSHERON TOUR

08:00 - 09:00 - Breakfast at Hotel - Start the day with a delicious breakfast. 10:00-12:00 - Absheron Tour - Begin your journey to explore the fascinating "Fire Mountain" - Yanardag, located 25 km north of Baku on the Absheron Peninsula. Yanardag, meaning "Blazing Mountain," is a natural wonder where flames dance conti- nuously on the rocky hillside, fueled by natural gas beneath the surface. It is a stri- king testament to Azerbaijan's nickname, the "Land of Fire."
Continue with a visit to the historic Ateshgah Fire Temple, a place of worship once used by Zoroastrians and Hindus. The temple's name, derived from the Persian word "Atash," meaning fire, reflects its centuries-old religious significance. 13:00-14:00 - Lunch - Enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant. 14:30-15:30 - Heydar Aliyev Center - Discover one of the world's most iconic pieces of modern architecture, the Heydar Aliyev Center, designed by the renowned architect Zaha Hadid. The 57,500 m2 structure is famous for its flowing, curved lines, avoiding sharp angles and standing as a symbol of contemporary Azerbaijan. (Photo opportunity outside the centre)
15:30-16:00 - Return to Hotel - After a day full of experiences, return to the hotel for a relaxing evening.

Day 4 SHAHDAG TOUR

Start the day with a delicious breakfast before heading out. 08:30 AM - 10:30 AM - Drive to Shahdag
Enjoy a 2-hour drive through the mountains and countryside as you head to Shahdag Mountain Resort.
10:30 AM - 11:00 AM - Arrival and Orientation
Arrive at Shahdag and receive a short briefing about the activities and the schedule for the day.
11:00 AM - 01:00 PM - Outdoor Activities
Experience some thrilling outdoor activities, such as skiing (in winter), snowboar- ding, or hiking (in summer), or take the cable car for stunning views of the mountains. 01:00 PM - 02:00 PM - Lunch Break
Enjoy a meal at a local restaurant or café in Shahdag, taking in the beautiful surroun- dings.
02:00 PM - 04:00 PM - More Activities or Free Time
Continue exploring the resort with more activities, or relax at the resort's spa. You could also visit local shops for souvenirs.
04:00 PM - 06:00 PM - Return to Baku
Depart Shahdag and enjoy the peaceful drive back to Baku, returning to your hotel.

Day 5 GOBUSTAN TOUR

After having breakfast at the hotel, the tour will start. Gobustan State Histo- rical and Cultural Reserve, located 64 km southwest of Baku, is rich in archaeological monuments. The Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape covers 537 ha and features over 6,000 rock carvings, dating back 5,000-20,000 years, depicting people, ani- mals, battles, ritual dances, and more. Azerbaijan is home to the most mud volca- noes in the world, with 350 out of 700 located here. To visit the Mud Volcanoes, you will need a Lada taxi from Gobustan, then enjoy a peaceful drive back to your hotel in Baku.

Depart from the hotel for a scenic 1-hour drive to Gobustan State Historical and Cultural Reserve.
11:00 AM - 12:30 PM - Explore Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape Explore the ancient rock carvings and petroglyphs, dating back 5,000-20,000 years, with a guided tour.
12:30 PM - 01:30 PM - Visit Mud Volcanoes
Travel to the Gobustan complex. Experience this natural wonder, home to almost half the world's mud volcanoes.
